Stamperland Sewer Upgrade
Project Overview
We are carrying out a necessary sewer upgrade in the Stamperland area.
This will mean that Stamperland Way is to remain temporarily closed to vehicle traffic until 7th February, 2025. Temporary traffic lights will also be in place on Stamperland Drive and Stamperland Gardens until 7th February, 2025. We will aim to open the road during the Christmas break between 20th December, 2024 and 6th January, 2025.
During this time full pedestrian access passing the work will be maintained. Local access will be provided to residents.
Our alliance partner Caledonia Water will manage this work on our behalf. The work is necessary for a larger project to take place which will commence in 2025.

What are we doing?
We are working hard to protect and enhance the environment of the White Cart Water and to help prevent sewer flooding in Stamperland. Further to previous investigation work in January, 2024, we are now carrying out preparation works in advance of the planned future improvements to the sewer network in 2025.
Traffic management is already in place and will continue until February, 2025. To minimise disruption over the Christmas period we are aiming to have the road reopened between 20th December, 2024 and 6th January, 2025.
Stamperland Road Closure
Stamperland Way will be closed until 7th February, 2025.
Why are we doing this?
The main project to help prevent sewer flooding in Stamperland will commence in the summer of 2025 and will last for approximately for one year. It will be required to upsize existing sewers along a short section of Stamperland Drive, Stamperland Gardens and Moray Drive. Some investigation works on Moray Drive will begin in early 2025 before the main project commences.
