Back of a Scottish Water van next to road traffic cones and signage

We are carrying out an emergency sewer repair in Reform Street, Dundee.

Following investigations we have identified a collapsed sewer trap on the footpath on Reform Street.

To carry out our repair safely, a full road closure will be required on Reform Street between Meadowside and Bank Street from Wednesday 15 October 2025.

We expect these repairs to take around two weeks to complete, although this may vary depending on site conditions.

  • During this time, there will be no vehicle access between Meadowside and Bank Street.
  • Alternative access for business deliveries and disabled road users will be made available via the pedestrian zone at High Street between 4pm and 11am Monday to Saturday, and all day on Sunday.
  • The east footpath on Reform Street will be closed near the junction with Meadowside, with signage in place to direct pedestrians and confirm that businesses remain open as usual.

We will provide further updates below as we progress with these emergency repairs, and we thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Latest Update - Mon 13 October
