Water Main Upgrade in Eaglesham
Project Overview
We are upgrading the water pipes on Eglinton Drive and Roddans Lane, Eaglesham, to ensure you continue to enjoy fresh, clear drinking water, and reduce the chance of pipes bursting and future flooding.
The work will begin on Monday 14 October, and will last approximately nine weeks.
Work is being carried out by our alliance partner, Clancy Docwra.

What Are We Doing?
We are carrying out work to upgrade the water pipes which will be undertaken over three separate phases:
-
Roddans Lane
-
From approximately No.2 to No.85 Eglinton Drive
-
From approximately No. 2 Eglinton Drive to the junction with Strathaven Road
While we are working to replace the sections of the water pipe between 67-85 Eglinton Road, a full road closure will be in place.
For the other sections of the work, temporary traffic lights will be used, with some access and parking restrictions.
Essential access for emergency vehicles and pedestrian access to residents’ properties will be maintained throughout the duration of the work.
The hours of operation will be from 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs, Monday to Saturday.
During the work you may notice some noise from construction equipment. We will do our best to minimise any disruption where possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete this essential work.
