Down to One Lane
Hope Street is reduced to one lane between Bath Street and West Regent Street
We have now completed our urgent repairs relating to internal flooding of a property on Hope Street between West George Street and West Regent Street in Glasgow city centre.
Traffic management has now been 'flipped' further north along Hope Street to allow us to carry out a sewer upgrade that had been planned for later this year.
Hope Street is therefore reduced to one lane between Bath Street and West Regent Street to allow the relining work to be carried out safely and we anticipate being on site for approximately four weeks from Monday 14 April 2025.
Businesses are open as normal, and we have been liaising with Strathclyde Partnership for Transport to minimise any impact on bus services.
