Buchanan Street Sewer

We are carrying out some emergency work on Buchanan Street in Glasgow city centre.

External sewer flooding has affected a section of pavement close to Buchanan Street Underground Station. Working with Glasgow City Council the area has been fenced off and a clean-up arranged.

Investigation work and a CCTV survey will be carried out to establish the cause and what remedial action will be required.

Given how busy Buchanan Street can be we are taking all necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of pedestrians and the wider public.
