The burst on the sewer is under the middle of the road junction
We are carrying out an emergency sewer repair in Airdrie after being alerted to a spill on the roundabout at the junction of Bore Road, Kirkness Street and Waverly Drive.
To carry out the repair safely traffic management will be set up in the form of four-way traffic lights. Temporary measures are also being put in place to over-pump the damaged section of sewer.
We appreciate there is a potential for disruption and delay on the road and we will do all that we can to carry out the repair as quickly as the conditions and safety will allow.
