Larkfield Road, Gourock

Project Update - April 2025

We are upgrading the water pipes to ensure our customers continue to enjoy clear, fresh drinking water, and reduce the chance of pipes bursting. 

Work started on Larkfield Road, Gourock, on Monday, 10 February and is expected to last approximately three months. 

During this work, there will be temporary traffic lights on Larkfield Road between the junctions of Hilltop Road and Reservoir Road. 

Our Operations and Network Control teams have also confirmed approval for two essential night shifts to take place on Wednesday 9th April and Wednesday 25th April, during which the final pipework replacement will be carried out on site.

To ensure clear and transparent communication, we anticipate being off site in the middle of May. This timeframe allows for any unforeseen issues that may arise during site reinstatement and clearance in the days following the final nightshift.
