Water Network Upgrade Rotherwood Avenue

What are we doing? 

From Monday, 21 April, Scottish Water will be carrying out some upgrades to the network on Rotherwood Avenue at the junction with Banner Drive.

The work will take approximately 16 weeks to complete and involves installing a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV).

PRVs are designed to protect against excessive pressure from a mains supply; therefore, reducing the chances of pipes bursting as a result of too much pressure.

There will be some roadworks during the work. This may include the use of temporary traffic lights and some access and parking restrictions. Signage will be in place to advise road users.

The work is being carried out by Mackenzie Construction on our behalf.
